Her specialized areas are the western suburbs of Chicago as well as the Gold Coast and Streeterville areas of Chicago. Andrée has served on several real estate committees during her career, most notably, as Chairman of Professional Standards as well as being elected to the Board of Directors of her Real Estate Association. Staying in touch with the current market trends has helped Andrée continue to be successful and tops in her profession.
Julie Shields Thompson has joined Andrée as a Broker’s Assistant in order to further enhance the quality of service their clients deserve.
Raised in Hinsdale, Julie attended Hinsdale schools, and then graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign with both a B.A. and M.B.A. After moving throughout the U.S., she took the opportunity to return to the area and settle back in Downers Grove, where she feels very much at home.
Having relocated long-distance four times with her family, she understands the many challenges, details and hardships that can arise from moving. With her hands-on experience and personal knowledge of what it takes to relocate, whether it’s two miles or two thousand, Julie will do her best to help smooth the transition for you and your family.
As a licensed Real Estate Broker, Julie has continued to invest in advanced education so that she is positioned to provide you with the highest quality of service possible. She has earned the National Association of REALTOR’s only recognized technology designation, e-PRO, as well as the Certified Staging Consultant designation.
Julie values building relationships within her community and volunteers as 1st Vice President (2009-10 President-Elect) on the Downers Grove Area Newcomers Board as well as the elementary school PTA Hospitality committee.
